The continuation of our "Les Icônes" collection with one of the most emblematic objects of Tintin's adventures: the lunar rocket - Hand painted polychrome resin - Not limited and numbered on a certificate
Hergé was intensely curious about science, and the pinnacle of his hyper-realism can be seen in Tintin's Moon adventures. The red-and-white chequered Moon rocket has become an iconic symbol not only of Hergé's work but also of comic strips in general. This new 30 cm resin model Tintin rocket (2018 edition) is based on a drawing from Explorers on the Moon.
At the beginning of The Castafiore Emerald (page 2, vignette A3), Tintin is strolling through the forest of Moulinsart with Captain Haddock. For the occasion, he has swapped his iconic trench coat for a zip-up jacket. With its full-length zipper and wide elasticated waist and cuffs, this brown coat is indeed much more suitable for this more casual activity.
A real treat. In Tintin in the Land of Black Gold (page 60, vignette D3), Thompson and Thomson undergo a strange transformation. After swallowing N. 14 tablets, the inseparable Belgian police officers immediately grow long—and even very long—hair and luxuriant beards. Hair-raising effect guaranteed!
