Ariana Dumbledore was the younger sister of Albus and Aberforth Dumbledore who suffered severe trauma at age six after being attacked by Muggle boys for performing magic. The attack left her with uncontrollable magic, which led to an accidental explosion that killed her mother when Ariana was fourteen. She died at age 14 after being accidentally hit by a curse during a three-way duel between Albus, Aberforth, and Gellert Grindelwald.
